Three things I learned doing an AMA with Blaine Vess:
/ People ask “how to’s” and tips all the time, but perhaps the best way is to JUST DO IT, because you’ll learn so much along the way
/ Builders gonna build – there’s tremendous joy in building. When it comes to startups, you’re either a builder or an investor, there’s very little in between. Where does your passion lie? Do you get more joy out of building or helping?
/ Why retire? If building is your thing, building is so fun, even if it’s a small business. You can continue doing some version of it
/ Bonus point: There are many ways to define success, but one way of defining success is freedom. You achieve ultimate freedom, and then work isn’t work any more – you’re just having fun (back to points #2 and #3 above)
